The Story of Invaders NFTs
Generative art is not new, tracing its origin to the music game of Mozart and mosaic tile. It had received a new push after the advent of the first computers when artists started to play with computer algorithms to create the first digital art. With Invaders NFTs, generative art is elevated to a completely new level enjoying the fruits of blockchain technology.
Inspired by the first most influential arcade of the 20th century, the Space Invaders, Invaders NFTs are a 5X5 pixel colourful mosaic generated with Solidity code. The generative algorithm behind the Invaders merges art, math, gaming, history, and blockchain, resulting in unique NFT art stored permanently on the Ethereum blockchain.
The Artist
The artist behind the Invaders is an early blockchain adopter known for his involvement in the crypto space since 2011. Preferring to stay pseudo-anonymous, Invaders.eth drew his inspiration from works of generative art pioneers like Jared Tarbell while developing his own unique style and moving the generative art to the blockchain.
The artist merged his formal mathematical background with Solidity programming skills to create a unique algorithm, which generates Invaders with minimal gas requirements. The artist’s unique skillset, including art, math, gaming and programming, resulted in unique digital mosaics born on the blockchain.

How Invaders compare
with other NFT Avatars ?
Unlike other NFTs relying on ASCII or SVG format, Invaders are made with Base64 encoding. This makes Invaders NFTs fully independent of existing browser technologies.

How Many Invaders Can Ever Be Minted?
The algorithm can produce 32,769 unique 5X5 pixel shapes, which can be multiplied by virtually endless color combinations. Meanwhile, the drop will include only 1,150 Invaders, with the first five NFTs staying with the artist.
How Will Invaders Be Priced?
Invaders NFTs will be priced on a linear bonding curve providing pricing incentives to early adopters. The price for Invader #5 will be set at ETH 0.1, while the price for each next Invader will increase by 0.1 ETH.
What Happens with my NFTs if Invaders' Website Is Down?
Since invaders are stored on the Ethereum blockchain, the art pieces associated with each NFT will stay forever, remaining truly timeless no matter what happens with the Invaders website. If Invaders.ai comes offline, Invaders NFTs and its market will remain fully functional and provide direct interaction.
